Written in 1901 this novel gives you the taste of late Victorian England and a convincing description of a well-born girl with poor money that, with her kind and humble behaviour , becomes a noble and marries happily. I enjoyed reading it both because of its Cinderella-like plot and because of the language used. Relaxing
